Nearly 30 years ago, while in a meeting about a future nursing shortage, she was inspired to capture the need. She began a journey that led her to establish The Right Solutions in Tontitown, Ark. She earned a Master of Business Administration, worked as a hospital administrator and learned how to credential. She started her company once she felt she had enough education and experience.
Diana was named the best nurse of 2015 in Arkansas by the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, published in You at Your Best April 2015.
When you put on your scrubs and grabbed your stethoscope for your first shift, did you know you would never clock out again? Diana Wright knew the importance of patient care but never could have guessed the number of lives she would help comfort and restore — and she still hasn’t clocked out.
Diana Wright vividly recalls the day she decided to become an entrepreneur. Back in 1985, she was working at a Louisiana hospital that sent her to Joint Commission training, which provided information on a number of healthcare-related issues including the aging population, rising medical needs and the nursing shortage in the United States. The event motivated her to start a healthcare staffing company of her own. “It was just a one-day seminar but it opened my eyes,” says Wright, who decided to get an MBA and learn how to run a business. “It was a life-changing event for me.”
Diana Wright, founder of The Right Solutions of Tontitown, which handles scheduling, housing and travel arrangements for temporary-duty nurses in all 50 states, was named Arkansas Business Executive of the Year in Little Rock.
As a nurse in the 1980s, Diana Wright always found herself in charge of managing the nurses’ schedules. In 1996, Wright opened The Right Solutions in Tontitown and started scheduling nurses for one-day shifts at local hospitals.
Diana Wright is the founder, owner and president of The Right Solutions, a nurse staffing agency that handles scheduling, housing and travel arrangements for temporary-duty nurses in all 50 states.
